There is a growing interest in Americans to learn China s language and culture. Many Americans are looking for new career opportunities and ways to connect with China. In order to meet that need, the Bangor Chinese School, Language and Culture Center is offering opportunities for individuals to teach English in China. This is a wonderful opportunity to learn the language and experience the culture! The Bangor Chinese School will prepare individuals for this opportunity by providing lessons in Chinese language and culture.</h3></P> <h2><b><i>Requirement</i></b></h2> <p> <h3> Minimum: High School diploma, or currently enrolled in a college program, willingness to learn basic Chinese.<br><br> Preferred: Bachelor s Degree, teaching experience, basic knowledge of the Chinese language and culture; effective communication skills; available to teach in China for at least one year.</h3></P> <h2><b><i>About Teaching</i></b></h2> <p> <h3> Teaching opportunities are available in the Middle schools, a high schools or universities. The jobs start in the months of March or September each year. The salary is approximately 3500 - 5000 yuan each month. Room and board is provided as well as all medical expenses. Many schools provide two paid vacations a year. After one year of teaching, round trip airfare will be provided.</h3></p> <h2><b><i>We help you to prepare</i></b></h2> <h3>The Bangor Chinese School has well established relationships in many provinces in China, and is well connected with the various teaching opportunities. We will guide you through the application process and assist with travel arrangements.
